What are your New Year's READolutions?

We'd love to hear them! Post them in the comments below. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Read:
  • the 2016 Read Brave book
  • a book published this year
  • a book you can finish in a day
  • a book you’ve been meaning to read
  • a book recommended by your local librarian
  • a book chosen for you by a friend or sibling
  • a book chosen for you by a parent/guardian or teacher
  • a book that won an award
  • a book published before you were born
  • a book that intimidates you
  • a book you’ve already read at least once
Do:
  • attend a 2016 Read Brave event
  • keep a list of the books you read
  • keep a reading journal
  • visit your library at least once each month
  • recommend a favorite book to a friend
  • write a book blurb to display at your library
  • write a book review for the Teen Book Club blog

  1. I read the book Drama by Raina Telgemeier and it covered at least 3 things a book that I have been meaning to read, a book I can finish in a day and a book chosen for me by a friend I was surprised I could find all of those things in just 1 book. If you haven't read it I suggest you check it out it is a good book and a relatable graphic novel to people because of the character developement and of cource the graphics

  2. A book that I have read more then once is Speak By Laurie Halse Anderson. If you haven't read it yet I suggest you check it out here is what they have to say about it on Goodreads Melinda Sordino busted an end-of-summer party by calling the cops. Now her old friends won't talk to her, and people she doesn't even know hate her from a distance. The safest place to be is alone, inside her own head. But even that's not safe. Because there's something she's trying not to think about, something about the night of the party that, if she let it in, would blow her carefully constructed disguise to smithereens. And then she would have to speak the truth.
