Read Brave 2015
This year, our Read Brave book was How It Went Down by Kekla Magoon.
Read Brave is Saint Paul Public Library’s annual, citywide program encouraging youth and adults to read and come together around a young adult novel. The program encourages intergenerational dialog about thought-provoking contemporary issues facing teens and culminates with a visit by the author to continue the discussion.

Read Brave 2014!
How are you all enjoying Eleanor & Park? I read it last fall, and now I am re-reading it via the audiobook version, which is excellent. It won an Odyssey Award Honor this year, which is what encouraged me to give it a try. You can read Rowell's comments about the audiobook here.
We'd love to see you at one of the Read Brave events! Here is the schedule:
Thursday, Feb. 27, 2 p.m.
Avalon School, 700 Glendale St
Thursday, Feb. 27, 7 p.m.
Como Park Conservatory, Rainforest Auditorium, 1225 Estabrook Dr
Friday, Feb. 28, 9:30 a.m.
Central Library, Youth Services 90 W 4th St
All events are free and open to the public. At each event, Rainbow will discuss her book and then be available for signing. Addendum Bookstore will be selling her books.

Book Trailer Workshop
Hi all!
At the next meeting we are going to spend the last part of the day creating book trailers. Start thinking about a title you would like to do. Maybe one of the book club titles?
Here's one I made today. Maybe it will help you generate some ideas!
